The Centre For Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) is an independent global assessment and certification organization. The mission of CEFEX is to promote fiduciary best practices in the investment management industry. CEFEX offers a certification to assist in determining the trustworthiness of investment fiduciaries. The assessments are conducted according to the principles of the international standard ISO/IEC 17021: Conformity Assessment, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is required for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems. The ISO 17021 standard serves as a foundation for facilitating the recognition of CEFEX certification in the interest of national and international trade.

Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation
Both Anthony Fiorenza and Derek Fiorenza of Summit Group Retirement Planners, Inc. maintain the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation.
The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation is a professional certification that demonstrates an advisor or other person serving as an investment fiduciary has met certain requirements to earn and maintain the credential.
The purpose of the AIF® Designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
Fi360 is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the AIF® Designation, making the designation part of an elite group of accredited designations recognized by FINRA.

Advisors specifically interested in building their retirement plan advisory business pursue the Professional Plan Consultant® (PPC®) Designation through our training. This course teaches advisors a framework for managing successful and compliant 401(k) plans. Those who successfully completely the training are eligible to earn their PPC® Designation and can demonstrate to clients and prospects their knowledge of ERISA requirements for employer-sponsored retirement plans and their ability to carry out plan services with a fiduciary standard of care.
